Joined the HCI Team in 2024
Cindy graduated from Northfield High School in 2019 and graduated from the Northfield Community College Collaborative in May 2023 with an associate degree. She previously worked at the Community Action Center of Northfield as a food shelf site coordinator.
Cindy started with Growing Up Healthy as an Early Learning Specialist, providing home visits and educational books and toys to help parents get their children prepared for Pre-K. Now, as a Family Engagement Navigator at Spring Creek Elementary and an Early Learning Specialist in Northfield, she supports families with elementary school children, promotes attendance and school engagement, and collaborates with Northfield Community Schools on their programming.
Cindy’s favorite aspect of her role is learning about all the different programs Growing Up Healthy can help people with, and making connections with community members and families.
Fun fact: Cindy and her family have four dogs!
