Evelyn Salgado is a Northfield High School alumna and recent graduate of St. Olaf College, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with minors in Family Studies and Public Health. During her time at Northfield High School, Evelyn was involved in TORCH and participated in PSEO classes.
As a Family Engagement Navigator at Jefferson Elementary School in Faribault, Evelyn supports students experiencing chronic absenteeism by partnering with students and families to identify barriers, connect with resources, and create individualized attendance plans. Evelyn is passionate about building meaningful relationships and helping students feel connected to school and succeed.
Fun fact: Evelyn enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures and places. She also loves playing soccer and spending quality time with her family and friends.
