Primer Paso
Primer Paso is a culturally-specific drug and alcohol treatment program which offers services in Spanish. Primer Paso is a Spanish language program offering co-ed outpatient treatment services and mens residential services. We are a community-based program that proudly and ethically provides services to individuals experiencing hardships related to substance use disorder. Our focus is on creating Latino community prosperity through ethnically inclusive programming.

Chemical health assessments, outpatient treatment, low- and medium-intensity men’s residential treatment, group and individual therapy sessions, familial inclusion sessions, peer recovery support services
Language Considerations:
Primer Paso provides treatment services in Spanish with native Spanish speakers, without the use of interpreters.
Financial Considerations:
Primer Paso clients, regardless of documentation status, can access behavioral health fund dollars to cover the cost of treatment if they financially qualify. Midwest is also credentialed with most major insurance providers and Medical Assistance.
